I recently heard my Nani say that when something bad or good is going to happen, she sees it in her dreams. Over the years I have noticed that she is very accurate. My mom also sees dreams telling her that something bad or good is about to happen, and then she becomes conscious of it. Sometimes she worries, but those things will surely happen and we cannot stop them.
These things got me thinking that there is a lot beyond the physical reality we live in. For example, in every culture and religion there is a concept of jinn, and the characteristics and references are similar to each other. There are many things beyond our understanding and control, our consciousness for one, and I think our consciousness is linked to our soul.
Elites want to live forever, and maybe it is becoming possible with AI and artificial organs. Maybe we could keep a tracking or data-collecting device with us forever, and after we are dead, our habits, patterns, data and desires would be transferred to a robot or a machine, from where we could continue to pursue our goals. For example, Elon Musk could continue to execute his mission of making us an interplanetary species. In a sense we would then live forever, but our souls will leave our bodies, and I am very sure of it, because in Islam there is the ayat “Kullu nafsin dha’iqatul mawt”, which means every soul shall taste death.
Some people are afraid of getting extinct because of AI, but we were all going to die anyway. Our universe is bound to collapse eventually.
If you look at the signs of the Day of Judgement, you will see that a lot of them have already happened and only a few remain. One example is communication with wild animals. I think that with the help of AI and pattern recognition we will be able to communicate with animals, and some reports say we have already communicated with whales. Then will come the Dajjal, and also Yajuj and Majuj. Wealth will overflow, and we will find it hard to give zakat.
All of these future predictions cannot be explained by science. So what I am realizing is that we will die, these prophecies will take place, and controlling the outcome is beyond our control. Therefore, we should live a good life, surround ourselves with people we love, show more empathy, follow Islam and prepare for the life after death. If it is in your taqdeer to be wealthy, you surely will be. We should strive hard and leave the outcome to Allah.
So the more I look at the world right now, the more I believe in Islam and in life beyond physical reality. A lot of what we believe is because of good narration and marketing, and at the core of everything are capitalism and power-hungry people. The most valuable thing to us right now is our consciousness.
My plan is to become as self-sufficient as possible. For starters: land, solar energy, a garden kitchen, a small poultry farm, a rainwater harvesting system, a strong house with good ventilation, and maybe a Starlink connection for internet. I strongly believe the concept of money will be replaced with something else and machines will do most of our jobs. Personally, I think this is a good thing, because then we can focus more on creativity.
So yeah, give it a thought: what are dreams, souls and consciousness?
