Beyond the Dialogue

I am watching older movies and art, and I can see that people who have a great knowledge of art want to see the emotions and story behind it.

I also realised something: movies should convey the story through visual art and use fewer dialogues. Similarly, I got an idea that from now on, whenever I create a post or website, I will make the message clear through visuals and reduce text as much as possible.

I recently watched both parts of Dune, and it was amazing. The visuals, the story, the character build-up, and the background music were amazing. I learned a lot from it, especially about how background music intensifies a scene and how the main character moves towards his goal.

I am also learning about movie direction and how actors build up a scene. For example, how Irrfan Khan or Nawazuddin Siddiqui deliver their performances. All of this is helping me understand art. It is helping me build taste, and I am also seeing a lot of nature photography. It helps me understand that life has more to it, the universe is very complex, and the only thing that will take me forward is how I view it.

Apart from this, work is a little hectic, but it is going well.

I recently went to a stand-up comedy show in Versova, and I noticed something. The comedians were cracking jokes about politics and swearing a lot. Social media memes and trends are what most people are consuming. We can also see that in Bollywood movies.

That’s why I am watching older movies like War Dogs, Fallen Angels, Dune, and The Prestige.

I have also installed an app to find new friends. I feel the need to have a diverse range of friends.
